For ages 24 and above
The whole course is taken on a motorcycle of at least 595cc & 50kW / 67bhp. We use the Yamaha XJ6 ABS or the Suzuki SV650 or the Suzuki GSX-8S. Once successfully completed you’ll have a full motorcycle licence allowing you to ride any motorcycle you choose.
You must have a valid DVSA motorcycle theory test certificate before taking this course and a valid CBT certificate if doing the experienced rider or novice rider course.

Option 1, for the very experienced rider*:

*Definitions
Very experienced rider
Must be extremely comfortable riding manual gearbox motorcycles, ideally with experience riding machines bigger than 125cc, such as motorcross / off-road riding / track riding. If you haven't ridden larger machines we'd strongly suggest the Novice rider course.
Novice rider
A rider with geared-bike riding experience and reasonably comfortable on one - either on or off-road.
New rider
Someone with no experience of riding motorcycles.
